Custom Swings — Made to Order

Our swings are made to order and designed in collaboration with each client. Whether you are looking for a traditional indoor swing, an outdoor swing, or something more contemporary, we can customize the design around your space, style, and functional requirements.

We are currently developing a starting-price structure to help customers better understand the expected cost of different swing styles and configurations.

Designed Around Your Space

Every project begins with a consultation. We work with you to understand the size, style, materials, finish, and installation requirements for your swing.

Swings can be designed for both indoor and outdoor use, with materials and finishes selected accordingly.

Traditional swings are commonly built from solid wood, and we are happy to create a fully solid-wood swing for clients who prefer that approach. We can also incorporate modern materials and construction methods where they provide meaningful advantages.

Depending on the design, these materials can offer greater strength and stability while reducing unnecessary weight and material cost. They can also improve long-term durability and help minimize issues related to wood movement over time.

Our goal is not to replace traditional craftsmanship, but to combine it with modern building techniques where doing so creates a better finished product.

Designed to Last for Generations

Like everything we build, our swings are designed with longevity in mind.

Whenever possible, we also consider how the piece can be transported, moved, repaired, or refinished in the future. Large furniture can become difficult to relocate, so we may incorporate carefully designed connections that allow portions of the swing to be disassembled and reassembled without compromising its appearance or structural integrity.

This makes the piece easier to move while helping ensure it can continue to be enjoyed for generations.

Freestanding Swing Frames

We are also developing a freestanding support system for customers who would like a swing without permanently attaching it to the structure of their home.

The frame is being designed around a concealed steel support structure while maintaining the appearance of a substantial solid-wood frame. This allows us to achieve the warmth and character of traditional woodworking while taking advantage of the strength and stability of engineered structural materials.

Traditional solid-wood support frames are also available for clients who prefer a completely traditional construction.
